E-Money and I Commit to Supporting Junior Pope’s Children Until Adulthood – Kcee Says

Nigerian singer, Kcee has promised that he and his brother, Emeka Okonkwo, aka E-Money, will be taking responsibility for the late Nollywood actor, Junior Pope’s children until they are old enough to cater for themselves.

The well known singer had made the pledge during the actor’s funeral in Ukehe, Nsukka, Enugu State, on Friday.
Junior Pope died on April 10, 2024, alongside three others after their boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a film location.

What They’re Saying

Kcee had said during a speech at Junior Pope’s burial:

“On behalf of my brother, E-Money and our friends, I want to say sorry to the family. Junior Pope is a blessing to this generation. He is somebody that we will never forget in this generation.

“My brother is the godfather of his first son. The friendship we have with Junior Pope has been for ages. When the unfortunate incident happened, my brother said to me that we were going to take up responsibility for his three sons till they were grown.

“But we can’t do that without the support of the family. So we are saying it openly to the family, we are ready to take care of the three kids to any level they want till they are grown to cater for themselves. We will take care of their education, feeding, clothing, and holidays. We are not doing it to show off but to honour our friend’s dying wish for a better life for his children. And we took it upon ourselves that we are going to support this family to train these children.”
