It began in 2017 with Tagbo Umeike. Tagbo’s death was swiftly followed by that of Olugbenga Abiodun popularly known as DJ Olu and Chime Amaechi. Both died few days after Tagbo. They were found dead in a BMW parked in a garage in Banana Island. DJ Olu was the son of the current governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun.

After almost a year hiatus, the grim reaper visited another associate of Davido, Habeeb Uthman, better known as Obama DMW. Obama, a music producer, and record label owner was Davido’s Close friend and a prominent member of the Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) crew.
