Guaranty Trust Bank Limited, a subsidiary arm of Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc, has been acclaimed as the Best Bank for Corporate Social Responsibility in Nigeria at the prestigious Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024. This award is an assertion of Guaranty Trust Bank’s passion for Corporate Social Responsibility beyond just its banking services, to a greater extent that the entire society benefits immensely as well.
The bank was attributed for its large-scale CSR efforts, with praiseworthy initiatives ranging from education, health, and community development, including financial inclusion – all justifiable cases. Examples include the GTCO Food and Drink Festival, GTCO Fashion Weekend, and Annual GTCO Autism Programme, among others. Through such endeavors, GTB shows it is committed to making changes that are beneficial not only locally but also throughout the whole continent, where different citizens live under difficult conditions.
