The founder of Harvesters International Christian Center, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, is currently under investigation by the Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID, Abuja.
The popular pastor of the church, known for his Next-Level Prayer Conference, is reportedly being questioned over alleged fraudulent activities in the real estate sector and possible money laundering.
The church, Harvesters, was founded in December 2003 by Pastor Bolaji, popularly known as “Pastor B.” The ministry has grown with a large following in Nigeria, the UK, and the United States over the years.
While some are questioning the sudden shift in narrative surrounding the pastor, others point to the growing trend of financial scandals involving religious leaders. It raises broader concerns about transparency in institutions that many look up to for moral guidance.
