I won’t go to jail because I am white – Jan 6 rioter

Jenna Ryan, the Jan 6th rioter who took to social media to boast that she wouldn’t go to jail because she is white is now going to jail. She has been sentenced to spend the next 60 days of her life in prison.

A United States District Judge, Christopher Cooper, also hammered the newly convicted rioter Jenna Ryan with 500 dollars in restitution after she was charged with picketing in a Capitol building, and a single count of parading and demonstrating.

According to Judge Cooper, Ryan’s sentence would teach other rioters the seriousness of what they did at the Capitol on Jan. 6th.

Judge Christopher Cooper

“Something about the courts and about how our country responded to what happened, and i think the sentence should tell them that we take it seriously.”

“You suggested Antifa was somehow involved. And perhaps most famously, you said that because you had blonde hair and white skin, you wouldn’t be going to jail”, Judge Cooper said.

In the memo of her sentencing, Jenna Ryan in March declared on Twitter that there would be no consequences for her being a part of the insurrection because she is white.

“Definitely not going to jail. Sorry i have blonde hair, white skin, a great job, a great future and I’m not going to jail. Sorry to rain on your hater parade. I did nothing wrong”, she wrote.

Jenna Ryan also posted on social media that the insurrection of Jan 6 should be seen as a “prelude” to “war”. According to prosecutors, also included in her post was a recording of her walking on Capitol grounds saying she would be “breaking those windows”.

As Ryan breached the Capitol, she went on Facebook live and told her viewers to hire her as a realtor. And in the midst of glass shattering and alarms, she proclaimed: “Here we are, in the name of Jesus!”

Now guess what Ryan’s lawyer asked of the Judge after everything listed above that she did?

So this lawyer who i think is shameless, a guy called Guy Womack, asked the judge for probation for his client. The same jargons handed to other Capitol insurrectionists. According to this guy called Guy Womack, his client was “among the least culpable of all the defendants in the case”.

Guy Womack

An ABSOLUTE NONSENSE statement from a lawyer of someone whose action has brought shame and disgrace to the United States and to democracy.

The lawyer didn’t just demand for a “pat in the back” for his client, he described her as a “social butterfly” who had not lingered long in the Capitol after breaching the building and had not been violent during the attack.

Hey Mr lawyer, in your eyes your client could be a saint – but in the nation’s eyes she is an insurrectionist. Thank goodness the Judge agreed and has now made sure she’s going to pay for her actions.

“There is a dispute over why you left – I think it’s responsible to think you left not because of regret, but because you didn’t want to experience tear gas,” Judge Cooper said.

Thank you, your highness.

CASE CLOSED!
