Christiano Ronaldo has expressed his excitement after scoring his first goal for Manchester United this season, in Manchester 2-0 win against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League game, as this officially kickstart the continuation of football activities of the club, after paying tribute to the late queen by putting football activities on hold.

Jadon Sancho, scored the first goal, putting United in the lead. Ronaldo made it 2-0 after he scored another goal from the penalty spot after Diogo Dalot was fouled.

An excited Ronaldo has taken to his Twitter handle to share the good news. Even though his goal came from a penalty spot, his fans are very excited about Ronaldo’s goal as it has been a difficult summer for the five times Balon D’or winner, especially the different controversies surrounding his desire to leave Manchester United since they did not qualify for the champions league this season.

Ronaldo took to his Twitter after the match to share his reaction, saying: Happy to score and help the team win! 3 important points! Well done lads.”

Apart from being his first goal for the season, this is also his first Europa League goal, as he spent a major part of his career playing in the Champions League.

This is a good improvement for United as they lost their last match to Real Sociedad.
