The night we’ve been waiting has come and gone, as multi-choice organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, announced the list of nominations for the categories on April 16, 2023.
Kunle Afolyan’s Anikulapo was the star of the day, as it bagged 16 Nominations, Anikulapo was nominated in all the categories, including, Best Overall Movie, Best Actress in a Drama, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Supporting Actor. Topping it up, Kunle Afolyan too was nominated as best director.
Well, everyone was expecting to see Kunle Remi’s name amongst those nominated in the Best Actor in a Drama category, but unfortunately, Kunle Remi’s name was not on the nomination list. Shanty Town and Brotherhood also made it to the nomination list.
