A dramatic late goal from Diogo Jota rescued a point for 10-man Liverpool as they twice fought back for a 2-2 draw against Fulham at Anfield. The result extended Liverpool’s unbeaten run against the Cottagers to seven matches (W4, D3), but it was far from a straightforward day for the league leaders.

The first half was a chaotic affair, with Andrew Robertson at the heart of several key moments. Fulham opened the scoring after 10 minutes when Antonee Robinson’s overlapping run set up Andreas Pereira, whose acrobatic strike deflected off Robertson and into the net.

The Scotsman’s torrid outing continued as he was sent off just minutes later for denying Harry Wilson a clear scoring opportunity following a poor touch. Despite the numerical advantage, Fulham did not force their control, while Liverpool were unable to counter effectively. The second half saw Liverpool respond literally with the first attack after the break as Cody Gakpo headed home a pinpoint Mohamed Salah cross. Fulham responded as Robinson’s cutback found Rodrigo Muniz, who bundled the ball past Alisson to restore the lead. However, the Reds drew level through the clinical strike of Jota after a great turn.

Despite late pressure from both teams, neither could find the winner as Alisson denied Adama Traoré deep into injury time of a pulsating encounter.
