Luka Modric, Croatia, and Real Madrid midfielder has agreed to continue his contract with the Spanish club up until June 30th, 2023.
The La Liga club which just won the champions league confirmed this extension on Wednesday afternoon. This makes it the eleventh season that Luka Modric would be playing for the Spanish team.
The 36-year-old player who moved from Tottenham to Real Madrid in 2012, is the central midfielder of the team and he has assisted Real Madrid to win the Champions League five times and the La Liga three times. He has played in about 436 matches for the club. He was awarded for his achievements and skills in 2018 with the Ballon d’Or award.
