Manchester City have revealed a historic ten-year partnership with PUMA, where the main kit deal is worth £1 billion. According to the deal available until 2035, PUMA will pay City an annual return of £100 million ($134.6 million), which is the highest amount ever for a Premier League kit agreement.
Despite a recent form slump under the management of Pep Guardiola—that also included an unexpected exit from the Club World Cup to Al Hilal—City’s commercial value is still going up steeply.
The club’s previous arrangement with PUMA, which was worth £65 million per year and set to expire in 2029, has been renegotiated to allow for an additional £100 million over the next four years alone.
On the club’s official website, it has been stated that: “Commercially, Manchester City and PUMA have set new club sales global records.” City Football Group’s CEO, Ferran Soriano, referred to the deal as the “solidification” of the long-term relationship.
PUMA is also the kit supplier for the other clubs within the City Football Group, like Girona, Melbourne City, Mumbai City, and Palermo. This deal is a vital financial boost amid City’s ongoing squad overhaul as they have spent over £300 million on transfers in 2025 with the likes of Omar Marmoush and Rayan Cherki.
