Julian Alvarez, Manchester City forward has said that he’s very positive that Lionel Messi, the PSG star will give out his best to Argentina in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Messi has been all shades of fantastic for PSG this season, as he scored 11 games and bagged 12 assists in 16 games for PSG.
According to him, Messi is doing very well for PSG this season, and this is an indication that Messi will replicate his performance for the Argentina national team.
“It’s true that he’s having a great year as usual. He’s doing very well so obviously it is very important for the Argentine national team,” Alvarez told ESPN Argentina.
Many fans are rooting for Argentina to win this world cup since it’ll be his last, for him to cement his status as the world’s Greatest player.
Argentina shares Group C in the 2022 FIFA World Cup alongside Poland Mexico and Saudi Arabia. Messi currently has scored 90 goals in 164 games for Argentina.
