Nigerian singer Anthony Ebuka Victor, popularly known as Victony, revealed that he still experiences leg pain despite having four surgeries.
Notably, in 2021, Victony survived a horrific car accident that claimed one life and left three others injured.
The accident kept him in a wheelchair for almost a year.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, shared on Instagram on Sunday, the musician revealed that the persistent pain had made a fifth surgery necessary.
“My leg still hurts. I am still going to do another surgery. I’m living it. I have just accepted that experience.
“It’s what is making me who I am today. That’s my story. I don’t want to happily identify with it but it’s part of my story,” he said.
Victony disclosed that he was in a coma for three to four days after the accident.
He admitted to experiencing “survivor’s guilt” after learning that someone had died in the accident but he eventually survived it.
