Nigeria to Begin Home Delivery of Passports- Rauf Aregbesola

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola made a shocking but welcoming revelation at the commissioning of the Nigeria Immigration Passport Front office Desk in Auchi, Edo State.

Rather than stress yourself to collect international passports, the Nigerian Government has started its plans on introducing home delivery of passports, to Nigerians anywhere in the world.

Rauf Aregbesola further revealed that they are already making plans to use NIPOST speed mail for the project. However, he said that Nigerians should expect delivery delays, due to the volume of applications.

From the way he said it, they are already in the final stages of concluding all necessary plans to make the project work.

Reacting to this news, while some netizens applauded this wonderful initiative from the government, others branded it as “not achievable” as according to them this system will even be more stressful than the normal collection, as some passports might not be delivered at all, while some have said that they’ll only applaud the government when the operation takes effect

Do you think that such a system will work in Nigeria?
