Well-known Nollywood actress and serial entrepreneur, Iyabo Ojo has revealed she is not open to remarrying.
The divorced mother of two had explained that she was not looking forward to marriage with her current and equally popular partner, a music executive, Paul Okoye, aka Paulo. She had instead said that she enjoyed the companionship.
The actress had expressed herself on her verified Instagram page.
She had posted:
“Marriage – done and dusted. Had kids – done and dusted. Raised my kids – done and dusted. Next stage: Enjoyment! Enjoyment! Enjoyment!”
A curious fan, not satisfied with the post had sought clarification in the comment section, asking, what she would do if her partner, Paulo proposed marriage. Ojo had simply replied the fan: “On the same page.”
This reply had not been well received by another fan who berated her for “misleading the young ladies by not believing in marriage,” but the actress had calmly explained that she “never said she didn’t believe in marriage. I said I have done that chapter but it didn’t work for me, and I don’t want to go through that route again. I want to enjoy my life with my soul mate.”
