Despite the whole issue with the election results and Labour Party contesting the results in court, the incoming First lady, Oluremi Tinubu, and Nana Shettima (wife of the vice president-elect) already have started their duties as they paid a visit to the first lady, Aisha Buhari at the presidential Villa in Abuja.

The first lady shared photos of their visit on her Instagram account on Friday. According to her, they came along with some governor’s wives to thank her for her contribution to society and her leadership during the presidential campaign.

She wrote, “HE, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of the President-Elect, accompanied by wife of the Vice President-elect, HE Nana Aisha Kashim Shettima and some governors wives made a congratulatory visit to HE, Dr. Aisha Buhari, First Lady, Federal Republic of Nigeria at the Presidential Villa to thank her for her leadership during the successful presidential campaign.

“Present at the occasion were APC Woman Leader, Dr. Betta Edu, DG Women Campaign Council Hon. Dr. Asabe Vilita, APC Women Activists and Associates of the First Lady.”

The wives of the President-elect and the Vice President-elect are already making preparations for their new offices. Nigerians are waiting to see the outcome of Peter Obi’s move.
