An adult male body has been recovered from the rubble of the collapsed building on First Avenue, Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos State which had caved in on Wednesday, April 12 leaving many workers trapped.
The State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, had in a statement on Friday, April 14, revealed that the body of the male victim was discovered on Friday morning, about 48 hours after the incident.
Omotoso had then said that nobody could determine whether the victim, whose body was found this morning, was on the site – as of the time the roll call was taken.
