The suspected Cultists have been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command on
Monday, in Bean community, Khana L.G.A of the State.

The suspects which have allegedly released terror on the L.G.A were apprehended and a locally made rifle was found with them.

The Police spokesperson of River State, Grace Iringe Koko disclosed this in a
statement released to news respondents on Wednesday.

According to her, Operatives of the Anti-cultism unit acting on a tip arrested the
suspects.

“They are Kensuanu Loveday Dick (m) a.k.a ‘Aaro’, the executioner of the Iceland cult
group, Myimaka Olu (m), and one Junior Mbo (m) of Bean community who has been
terrorizing the area.

“During the search on Junior Mbo, one locally made pistol was discovered. They will be charged in court once the investigations are completed.”

She further said that the force is committed to fishing out the bad eggs from society, and would not stop until society is free from these bad eggs.

She also advised residents of the state to be Security conscious and should not hesitate to inform the police, about any suspicious movement and activities in their environs.

The issue of Cultism in Nigeria is another issue entirely, many societies, and institutions are plagued with this vice.
