Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have treated fans with a very special birthday gift. To mark their daughter’s first birthday celebration, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared photos of their little daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, two days after the princess turned one. Lilibet is seen in the picture, smiling for the camera as she posed in the yard of her family’s home in England. For the shoot, the princess was in an ocean blue dress, and a white lace bow was placed in her red hair.
The photographer, Misan Harriman, gushed about the pictures he took and said on an Instagram post: “It was such a privilege to celebrate the 1st birthday of Lilibet with my family and hers!”. He had also been Lilibet’s older brother, Archie Harrison’s photographer.
To mark the youngest member of the family’s first year around the sun, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to the family representative, invited beloved friends and family to a casual and intimate backyard picnic at Frogmore Cottage in England. An east Londoner baker, Claire Ptak baked a special cake for the Princess.
Fans from all over the world have donated to the World Central Kitchen in honor of the princess, Lilibet, and more than 100 thousand dollars have been gathered for the organization which provides meals in response to climate, humanitarian, and community crises.
