The Princess of Wales will be attending Remembrance events in London this weekend, the Buckingham Palace confirmed.
The Palace also revealed that the princess will attend both the Sunday service at the Cenotaph and the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday evening.
This is a marker that the princess is gradually returning to public royal duties following her cancer treatment.
Meanwhile, Queen Camilla’s attendance will be subject to medical advice as she has been ill with a chest infection and consequently pulled out of palace engagements earlier this week.
In a video released in September, the princess revealed that she had finished her chemotherapy treatment and was “looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months”.
The Remembrance event will make it the first time Catherine has carried out two consecutive days of public official engagements since the beginning of the year.
She had already made a few tentative returns, beginning with her first public appearance after her cancer diagnosis at the annual Trooping the Colour parade back in June.
She had also attended her first official work meeting in September since her treatment.
King Charles who is still receiving cancer treatment, will oversee the laying of wreaths at the Cenotaph service on Sunday.
