A protest has reportedly broken out in the Diobu and Mile 1 areas of Port Harcourt, Rivers state, and according to reports, bank buildings are being razed with individuals out on the streets protesting the new naira notes redesign.
Meanwhile, residents living in the area have been cautioned to stay indoors to avoid stray bullets as gunshots had been heard.
