Patrick Fakoya, also known as Rico Swavey and a former housemate on Big Brother Naija’s third season, has been officially pronounced dead.
His housemates Alex and Tobi Bakare, who also posted about him on social media on Thursday, verified his passing.
The former BBN celebrity was involved in an auto accident, which caused him to enter a coma before his death on Thursday morning.
Bakre posted a picture of Rico Swavey in the hospital along with the information that the accident victim had been given life support on his Twitter page.
After he was killed in a car accident, fundraising was started for the Big Brother Naija season 3 housemate who passed away.
Tobi Bakare responded by posting a photo with the message, “This is how I will remember us brother, Forever, RIP” on his Instagram account.
While Alex Unusual, a stage name for Alexandra Amuchechukwu Asogwa, also expressed her sorrow on Twitter. “This was not what we agreed Rico, Rest in peace,” she added.
