Another lockdown in the South-Eastern states of Nigeria in a bid to call for the release of Nnamdi Kanu has been declared by the self-proclaimed disciple of the detained leader of IPOB, Simon Ekpa.
Ekpa, who is currently based in Finland rose to prominence in July 2021, after being
announced as the lead broadcaster of Radio Biafra.
He made the recent lockdown declaration in a tweet on Monday, January 15, saying:
“Based on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s present health condition, the Court of Appeal judgment discharging him, Umuahia court judgment, and Gov Soludo’s recent call for his release, we are giving the FGN between now and 22nd of January 2023 to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Upon failing to do that, the entire land of Biafra will be locked down on the 23rd and 24th of January 2023 in protest.” His tweet read.
