Gov. David Umahi of Ebonyi has ordered the immediate removal from office of his Special Assistant on Technical Affairs, Mr. Collins Eze, for severe misconduct.
Dr. Kenneth Igwe, Secretary to the State Government/Coordinating Commissioner, announced to reporters on Tuesday in Abakaliki.
The suspension is indefinite, according to the Statement.
As a direct result of this extended suspension, the Governor has approved the cancellation and withdrawal of the honors award recently bestowed upon Eze by the state government, following his authority under the State Honours Law, 2022.
Eze is required to hand over all government property in his possession to the Secretary to the State Government and Coordinating Commissioner before the finish of work on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022.
