Former Big Brother Naija star Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has sparked discussions online after revealing that love alone is no longer a sufficient reason for her to marry.

In an interview with Yanga FM Lagos, the reality star explained that her outlook on marriage has evolved since achieving fame and financial independence.

“I can’t marry just for love. I’m looking for a billionaire. I’m a millionaire, so my potential husband should be richer than me. I’m certain I can’t marry for love,” she stated candidly.

Tacha noted that before her stint on Big Brother Naija in 2019, marrying for love might have been an option. However, her current success and lifestyle have reshaped her approach to relationships.

According to the reality TV star, wealth and compatibility are now essential considerations when choosing a life partner, as marrying someone who cannot match her financial or social standing could lead to challenges down the line.

Despite setting high standards for a future spouse, Tacha emphasized that marriage is not her immediate priority. She remains focused on growing her career, expanding her business ventures, and building long-term financial stability.
