The Governor made the stunning disclosure on Friday at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Omagwa in the Ikwerre Local Government Area, where he was inaugurating the second group of the first 100,000 Special Assistants from Rivers East Senatorial District.

He ordered all political figures from the various Local Government Areas to go back home and look for reliable individuals they believe can support the state’s stance in the comity of states.

Governor Wike explained that even though so much has been accomplished, his government is not taking the final few months for granted to those who do not understand the reasoning behind the appointment.

He stated that the newly appointed Special Assistants on Political Units Affairs would aid in the successful conclusion of his term.

Wike added that the selection is in line with his promise to start implementing the policy of stomach infrastructure on the day the Rebisi flyover was dedicated.

He claims that the appointment will put money in the hands of Rivers residents and is a necessary component of stomach infrastructure.

He congratulated the appointees and advised them to count themselves among the fortunate 6 million Rivers citizens serving in his administration.

He said that since their political leaders had confidence in them, they ought to commit to carrying out the task at hand well.

The task, according to the governor, entails interacting with the public to learn what they are saying and their opinions on government initiatives and policies, whether favorable or unfavorable and then relaying this information as feedback to his office via the constituency and ward liaison office
