According to checks on the official ticketing platform, most of the U.S. and Canadian performances have been marked as “cancelled by the event organisers.” Fans who purchased tickets have been notified that they will receive refunds, which are expected within 14 to 21 days.
The notification reads: “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. You don’t need to do anything.
We’ll issue a refund to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, as soon as we receive the funds from the Event Organizer. It should appear on your account within 14-21 days. If the tickets were transferred to you, the refund will go to the original purchaser.”
Additionally, a concert in Berlin, Germany, has also been cancelled.
No official statement has been released regarding the cancellations, leaving fans speculating about potential reasons or possible rescheduling.
Wizkid’s Morayo, released on November 22, 2024, serves as a tribute to his late mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023. Wizkid, born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, gained global fame with his 2011 album Superstar and won a Grammy Award in 2021 for his contribution to Beyoncé’s Brown Skin Girl.
