Popular Yoruba actress, Omowunmi Ajiboye has refuted claims of being entangled in a romantic relationship with MC Oluomo.
This disclaimer is coming after netizens called out the actress for not giving her estranged husband, Segun Ogungbe, his due respect at her mother’s funeral that held over the weekend.
Note that it had been rumoured that MC Oluomo was the one sponsoring Wunmi’s mother’s funeral.
However, in a reaction to the claims in an Instagram post on Monday, November 20, Wunmi dismissed having an affair with MC Oluomo, but he had admitted that he had helped by providing funds for the burial.
She had said:
”I need to clear the air, I am a virtuous and hardworking lady and I won’t allow my resolve, name and my truth to be stolen.
“I had ended it with the King of Fuji Music years before my mother’s burial party and as a norm after the birth of the group: CGI (Connecting Grassroots Initiatives), I had to officially invite the trailblazer of the group, MC Oluomo.”
“I can for a fact, state that I have never had a romantic relationship with him before or during the party. The philanthropist simply gave me money to support the burial in the presence of the committee a day to the party.”
“Everything I have done individually is always tagged to him and it always strips me of my hard work. I have been quiet for a long time but I am now boldly stating that I don’t have any romantic relationship with him and this does not remove the fact that he has been a good person to me.”
