Big Brother Naija Season 10 delivered an unexpected twist on Wednesday night as housemates Rooboy, Dede, and Joanna made a dramatic return to the house after being seemingly “evicted” through Biggie’s notorious red phone twist.

The trio had been secluded in a secret room for the past two days, completely hidden from the view of their fellow housemates.

During Monday’s live show, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu had confirmed their departure, leaving both the housemates and viewers in disbelief. Dede and Joanna were the first to leave after answering the red phone, followed shortly by Rooboy, who appeared to be permanently evicted. Big Brother’s signature countdown added to the illusion, convincing everyone that the three were truly out of the game.

The surprise came after Wednesday evening’s Travel-beta sponsored task when the previously “evicted” housemates re-entered the house, triggering screams and cheers from their fellow contestants.

The red phone twist, one of Big Brother Naija’s most unpredictable elements, is designed to test housemates’ composure while keeping viewers on the edge of their seats, and Wednesday’s surprise return was a perfect example of its dramatic impact.
