Veteran Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Face or 2Baba, has welcomed a baby boy with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
Earlier on Friday, speculation intensified after Osawaru was seen at a hospital, sparking rumours that she had gone into labour.
Hours later, the politician confirmed the news through a short post on her official Facebook page, announcing that the couple had been “blessed with a baby boy.” The update immediately drew widespread congratulatory messages across social media platforms.
The birth marks the latest chapter in the couple’s increasingly high-profile relationship.
2Baba and Osawaru made their union official earlier this year after the singer’s separation from Annie Idibia in January. Their relationship quickly became a topic of public interest, from the Valentine’s Eve proposal to family introductions and subsequent traditional rites.
In July, they held a private traditional wedding ceremony in Abuja, attended only by close family members.
