President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, has opened up on he has been affected by the naira scarcity caused by the Central Bank of Nigeria’s currency redesign.
In Adesina’s recent article titled “Living on a shoestring budget,” he remarked that he has been spending the ‘paltry sum’ of N20,000 for one week.
Adesina had revealed that he spent N6,000 for three days and by Friday, it had shrunk to the miserly sum of N2, 500.00.
This revelation according to him, was because an ‘a lot of Nigerians do not know that government officials are additionally itchy from the current situation of things
He had then gone on to say that the varied attacks on banks, looting of shops, and engagement in civil disobedience was unnecessary act.
