Bandits Storm Kaduna In Fresh Attack

Not less than two people have been murdered and four others abducted by bandits in a latest attack at Dogon Noma-Unguwan Gamu Community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Many residents of the community had sustained injuries from the gun-wielding bandits during the attack.

Police Operatives in the state are yet to confirm the attack, but a community leader at Kufana, Musa Yaro had informed Channels Television that the incident had occurred in the early hours of Friday, September 15, when the bandits stormed the community and began shooting sporadically. Two people had died as a result while three others were taken away.

The names of the deceased include: Bala Laya and Gimbiya Coaster while the names of the kidnapped victims are Set Alkali, Saviour Christopher and Sico Nicholas.

For several years, Kajuru Local Government Area has become notorious for its frequent bandit attack.

One of such disastrous attacks had occurred on March 11, 2019, where52 people were murdered and more than 200 houses burnt down, while hundreds of people fled from their homes by the attackers.
