BBNaija star Erica Nlewedim has accused British Airways of downgrading her business class ticket to economy without her approval. Erica, visibly upset at an undisclosed airport, initially tried to resolve the issue quietly but took to Instagram Live after feeling bullied by an airline staff member.
In a viral video, Erica stated that officials tried to intimidate her and threatened to confiscate her phone. She demanded her ticket be restored to business class, citing that she paid for the upgrade and arrived on time.
In the footage, Erica identified the staff member as Stanley from British Airways, expressing her frustration over the downgrade and asserting her right to the service she paid for. She stated that despite being nice initially, the situation forced her to be more assertive.
British Airways has yet to respond to the incident at the time of this report.
