The All Progressives Congress presidential council has allegedly sent out an Arise TV
cameraman from filming its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu’s event in Lagos State.
In a bid to justify the dismissal of the cameraman, the APC Presidential Campaign
Council alleged that the cameraman was caught secretly streaming a live video of its
presidential candidate.
Bayo Onanuga, the APC-PCC Director of Media and Publicity, who revealed this in a
post via his Twitter handle, had tagged the Journalist’s action as an act of espionage
while adding that the journalist was not authorized by anyone to do so and was
therefore, busted and sent out.
Tinubu’s political party, APC, and its campaign council have been at the throats of Arise TV news station ever since an invitation to feature in a town hall program the station had organized for presidential candidates became a controversy, to the detriment of its candidate.
