It was a whole lot of joy for the Eintracht Frankfurt football club as they win the UEFA Europa League by penalties.

The match was a tense one as both teams struggled to take dominance of the match. Full-time ended with a 1 – 1 draw which led the teams into penalties. Frankfurt won the league with 5 – 4 goals in penalties.

The race for the 2021/2022 season’s Europa League was not an easy one for Frankfurt. They had however had an unbeaten record in the season’s competition. The last time a German team won the league was in 1997, this made Eintracht Frankfurt the first German team to win the cup for 25 years. Some football fans said that they deserve to be the champions of the league this year.

As the other team celebrated their win, the Rangers football club is heartbroken as they are unable to win the league. They took to their Twitter to express their pain and also thanked their fans for their support.
