Rita Daniels, the mother of Nollywood star Regina Daniels, has launched a scathing attack on her estranged son-in-law, Senator Ned Nwoko, as tensions between the couple continue to escalate.
In a viral video, Rita accused the politician of betraying and humiliating their family despite the support they had given him in the past.
She alleged that her daughter had financially contributed to his political ambitions while the family stood by him during his campaign.

“You wanted someone with a high star to boost your fallen star. If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you’ll go down,” she said angrily.
Rita went further to claim that Regina donated a significant sum to Nwoko’s senatorial bid, while the family helped elevate his public image. “Regina gave you $50k to support your election. We are covering up your shame and making you feel like an Odogwu. You’re mad,” she added.
Her comments followed Regina’s recent outcry on social media, where the actress accused Nwoko of ordering the arrest of her siblings in an alleged attempt to pressure her into returning to him and undergoing rehabilitation.
The actress expressed her dismay over the ongoing drama, questioning why separation should turn into hostility. She said she had kept silent despite being publicly called a drug addict but could no longer endure the pain.
Regina stated that she felt compelled to speak up, insisting that she was tired of staying quiet while her family suffered.
