Fulham rallied their way to an incredible 2-1 win over 10-man Chelsea in a London derby full, whereas both Manchester Clubs ended up with frustrating draws, as the Premier League round of fixtures once again offered plenty of entertainment.
Fulham registered only their third Premier League win in 29 games against Chelsea at Craven Cottage, taking advantage of Marc Cucurella’s being sent off early in the game after making a last-man tackle on Harry Wilson. Marco Silva’s team failed to capitalize on their numerical advantage when Raul Jimenez gave them the lead in the second half. Chelsea responded through Liam Delap, equalizing in the 72nd minute, but Wilson’s right foot scored the winner after his shot took a deflection nine minutes later to help Fulham keep their unbeaten run in the league to six games and get to eighth on the table, with the same points as Chelsea.

Manchester United’s first game after the departure of Ruben Amorim ended with a typical collapse as they were held 2-2 by Burnley at Turf Moor. Even though United had a great time of play, they were forced to do a comeback after conceding early in the game, but the visitors were powered by Benjamin Šeško, scoring two goals in the second half. The Clarets got their first goal through an Ayden Heaven own goal and a magnificent strike in injury time from Jaidon Anthony, which made their winless streak the 12th game while being a huge setback for United’s endeavors to finish in the top four.
On the other hand, Manchester City fans at Etihad Stadium had to endure the pain of their team being held by Brighton & Hove Albion 1-1. Erling Haaland scored the penalty he got in the first half, and this goal put Manchester City into the lead, but a phenomenal strike from Kaoru Mitoma in the second half drew the two teams level. Pep Guardiola’s men have to live with the disappointment of losing points from a winning position in not only one but two consecutive home games, thus allowing Arsenal to increase their lead at the top.
These results emphasize how things have been going haywire for most of the contenders for both titles and the top four as even the best teams find it difficult to maintain a good form throughout the whole season.
