Gary Neville’s Prediction Against Arsenal Comes to Pass

If we can recall, some months ago, Gary Neville was heavily bashed for his prediction, that Arsenal won’t emerge as this season’s premier league title holders, even though they were right points ahead of City.

According to his statement, he said that he doesn’t think that City has given out their best performance, as when the season gets hotter City will hunt Arsenal down and take their title.

“I don’t think Manchester City have started properly yet,” Neville said months ago according to this video from Twitter.

“But when they start to purr, they will start to motor on and hunt Arsenal down. Arsenal could hold off City (come the end of the season), but I don’t think they will, once it starts.”

Well, his prediction came to pass, as City has gone all out to hunt the title out of Arsenal’s grasp, seeing how they thrashed Arsenal 4-1 last month, however, Arsenal have finally fallen out of Grace after they were defeated 3-0 by Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday in the Emirates stadium. This defeat left them 4 points behind City who still have two games to play before the season ends.
