Pegi Residents Association President Taiwo Aderibigbe revealed the developments to reporters in Abuja on Tuesday, adding that among the abductees was an employee of the FCT Development Control Department. of the Abuja Urban Management Board.
The kidnappers have not contacted the families of the abductees at this time, but the association is still trying to identify other abducted residents.
Reacting to the incident, following an inquiry by reporters on Tuesday, FCT Development Control Bureau Director Mukhtar Galadima said the kidnapping story is real and one of their drivers, Shuaibu Musa, was among those kidnapped and he has not yet been released.
