Celebrity chef Hilda Baci is marking her 30th birthday with a heartfelt reflection on her journey, both personally and professionally.
In an Instagram post, Baci described entering her thirties as stepping into a “brand-new book,” carrying with her the lessons, challenges, and triumphs that have defined her path.
“This is 30, and it feels like stepping into a brand-new book, not just another chapter.
I carry every lesson, every tear, every win with me, but I walk forward lighter, stronger, and overflowing with gratitude to God. The woman I’ve prayed to be is the woman I’m becoming,” she wrote.
Her milestone birthday comes shortly after a historic accomplishment: setting a Guinness World Record for preparing the largest serving of Nigerian-style Jollof rice. The massive 8,000-kilogram dish, prepared in Lagos, drew thousands of spectators and further solidified Baci’s reputation as a culinary trailblazer.
Baci’s career is defined by resilience, ambition, and a commitment to excellence. She previously gained international recognition in May 2023 after completing the longest cooking marathon by an individual, an achievement that brought global attention to Nigerian cuisine and showcased her dedication to her craft.
