It’s almost the end of Buhari’s tenure and with less than a day to the inauguration ceremony, President Buhari’s accomplishments and failures have been tabled, letting everyone see that he had not done much in the aspect of insecurity.

In a farewell speech by the President on Sunday, May 28, he admitted that he was still pained by the fact that some of the Nation’s kids were still being held hostage by terrorists.

He had however assured Nigerians, that for those still in the clutches of these terrorists, the various security agencies were working to see that they were released promptly.

Up till now, I still grieve for our children still in captivity, mourn with parents, friends and relatives of all those that lost loved ones in the days of the senseless brigandage and carnage.

Meanwhile, Buhari has claimed that his tenure was still able to tackle insecurity in the country in some aspects, such as banditry, terrorism armed robbery and others.
Furthermore, he had advised Nigerians to be vigilant and security conscious in whatever way they can.
