Nollywood actor Jim Iyke recently stirred a heated conversation by claiming that doctors are trained not to completely cure patients.
Speaking on the Echoo Room podcast with reality TV star Teddy A, Jim Iyke suggested that the healthcare system is designed to keep people dependent on ongoing treatments rather than offering full recovery.
He said, “There’s a GMO everywhere. The orthodox medicines; the lies. If I say it anywhere, it upsets them [medical practitioners].”
He also added, “Medical doctors are basically trained all through their career not to heal. It’s big pharma business. If they tell you what to take and they heal you, you’re not a customer anymore and they won’t make money.”
Jim Iyke described the healthcare industry as “a trillion-dollar industry,” implying that financial gain often takes priority over patient wellbeing.
His remarks have sparked debates around the true priorities within healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
