Former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has lost his Uncle, the younger brother to his mother, Elder Omieworio Afeni who passed on at age 87, in Bayelsa state capital Yenogoa during the weekend.
This information was released by Ikechukwu Eze the media adviser to Jonathan, who disclosed in a statement, that the ex-president has been in Bayelsa since last weekend when his uncle passed.
The Statement further described the diseased as a man who loved and promoted peace within the community.
The statement also quoted Jonathan as saying that the family “is deeply pained by his exit but is grateful to God for the gift of a long and fulfilled life.”
The date of the burial has been fixed for march 23 2023, and all information as regards his burial will be communicated to the public by the family.
