The Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) retake for 2022 will now take place on October 6, according to the Lagos State Examinations Board.

This is stated in a statement made on Wednesday in Lagos and signed by Mr. Orunsolu Adebayo, Director, Lagos State Examinations Board.

The inspection that was initially set for September 28 had been rescheduled, according to the statement.

However, it stated that the retest would still be held in several predetermined locations throughout the state.

According to the statement, the postponement was required to accommodate schools that had not yet registered their students for the resit exam.

The statement said, “The Board does not desire to deprive the impacted candidates of the opportunity to sit for the examination.

To guarantee that all impacted candidates were properly brought along, it advised concerned principals to take notice of the information and make the greatest use of the extended date.
