Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido says he’s thanking God, reflecting, and getting love from close quarters as he marks his 32nd birthday. Well-wishes streamed in for the singer, who, days before his November 21st birthday took to X (formerly Twitter), to let the world into his heart.
“Big 32 soon! Omo, God is good. Happy to be alive! My eyes don see shege! But steady my fans dey shout shekpe!” he wrote, noting the struggles of life and appreciating God’s blessings for his life, coupled with the constant support from his fans.
Among the numerous heartfelt messages he received, Davido’s second daughter, Hailey Adeleke, took her own share of goodwill messages. She shared a throwback video on her Instastory, celebrating her dad as her “best friend”.
Since announcing a N300 million donation to orphanages as a way of marking his birthday, the music star, Davido, has been an enigma. His uncle, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, also joined fans and family in celebrating the Unavailable crooner for his resolute spirit, generosity, and impact.
