Controversial Nigerian street-hop artist Portable has reignited online drama with the release of a diss track targeting Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, along with other high-profile figures, following the leak of a WhatsApp group chat tied to the investigation of late singer Mohbad’s death.
The latest uproar began after social commentator VeryDarkMan shared screenshots from a private WhatsApp group believed to involve Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, and others closely following the Mohbad case.
The leaked messages revealed Tonto Dikeh allegedly expressing concern over reports that Naira Marley and Sam Larry, key suspects in the case, might be granted bail.
One of the more explosive revelations in the chat included claims that Tonto referenced classified details reportedly sourced from someone linked to the Department of State Services (DSS), suggesting a deeper layer to the controversy.
Wasting no time, Portable reacted with a fresh song questioning the origins of the group and distancing himself from its members. In the track, the “Zazoo Zeh” crooner made it clear that he had no hand in the conversations, asserting he was not part of the inner circle or discussions now under public scrutiny.
Portable, never one to hold back, also launched verbal attacks on VeryDarkMan’s supporters—known online as the “Ratel”—further escalating their already tense online rivalry.
Their public feud has grown increasingly personal in recent weeks. VeryDarkMan had previously dropped a diss track accusing Portable of stealing a tricycle and used the opportunity to throw jabs at various public figures, including mocking Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State over his controversial WAEC certificate. The track also made fun of popular preacher Jeremiah Fufeyin and his much-criticized “miracle water.”
