Beatrice who was one of the contestants in the recently concluded season 6 of Big Brother Naija show won by fellow contestant, White Money, took to social media to express her uttermost feelings and fear of sex.
In a brief post that has attracted various reactions from fans and critics alike; she wrote: “I can’t still believe at my age, I’m still afraid of sex.” Following the revelations which came as a surprise to so many, reactions have begun to trail her confessions as expected.
Fans are now divided with some believing her story, even advising her to seek for help from professionals to help her overcome the fear, while some believe it is a subtle message to indicate a rough or dark patch in her childhood days that might have involved some form of abuse. If she was at any time assaulted, it can lead to her developing a phobia for such acts and obviously she has not been able to overcome it even after attaining adulthood.
On the flip side, others believe she has been out of the news for a while hence her latest move to get tongues wagging once again. It can also be recalled that during the show, she mentioned that she was once married with a child. However, she left the show earlier than most of the housemates hence her gradual down-ward slide out of recognition as endorsement deals have dried up long ago. This latest stunt will put her back into the news.
But what could have prompted such an unsolicited outburst from her when nobody was asking? If she was responding to questions during an interview, it could be forgiven that the interviewer probably put her in on the spot by asking such a private question, but just out of the blues?
