Mummy of Lagos aka Bobrisky , the popular crossdresser, will be regaining his freedom this Monday, after the six months he was spent in jail for cutting the naira notes.
The sentence was passed in a suit filed before the Federal High Court in Lagos in March 2024 by Justice Abimbola Awogboro where she stated that this was to serve as a deterrent to other persons who would want to use the currency to perpetrate other vices. Bobrisky’s prison term began on the 24th of March, 2024, the time he was apprehended.
