The Federal Government of Nigeria has just deployed 151 helicopter monitoring officers (HMOs) to several airports nationwide for the commencement of the collection of helicopter landing levies.
This initiative aims to boost the country’s revenue while improving the security of its airspace through effective helicopter movement monitoring.
Meanwhile, Mr. Stanley Chike, the Managing Director of Naebi Dynamic Concepts Limited, -the firm in charge of levy collection as a receiver-manager on behalf of the federal government- had stated that the initiative would help give accurate information on helicopter movement in the country’s airspace.
