The speculation began when a Wizkid fan assured Savage of the Starboy boss’ fans’ support. Another fan, however, countered, claiming she had trolled Wizkid in the past and that they should not back her. A fan then asked AI platforms XAI and Grok to verify, and both confirmed there was no evidence that Savage ever trolled him.
In response, Tiwa Savage wrote, “Thank you o, have never done that. But they have just ran with this narrative and I have just kept quiet.”
But this raises the bigger question—is anyone really big enough to be trolled in Afrobeats? Wizkid’s Grammy win, global influence, and massive fanbase make him nearly untouchable. Could any playful jab from Tiwa Savage genuinely affect him?
