Majeeed is not just performing for the first time in the scene, but he is gradually securing a comfortable place in the mainstream with his record ‘Yawa No Dey End.’ From ordinary TikTok sensation to dishing out his first project with the title ‘Bitter Sweet’, the project was released barely six months after he got a record deal signed with “Dream Empire Music”.

Who is Majeeed?

Majeeed, birthed as Ekeh Chiaka Joseph, is a native of Imo State. Not much detail is available regarding his education and date of birth. However, he grew up in Abeokuta and Lagos States. So far as we can say, his voice record has gotten lots of positive reviews from fans and even social media critics.

In his first-ever project with the title ‘Bitter Sweet,’ Majeeed was able to produce an Afrocentric project which he employed in communicating with topics that reflects on romance and love, not to exclude unrequited love, adulthood ( and the pressures attached), and toxic relationships. These various subject matter chosen by him shows Majeeed’s capability and an acknowledgeable level of his artistic view. His view of rhythms with the real definition of arts and music.

His Achievements So Far

The project from this artist has recorded recommendable successes as many fans of him are ever ready to dance to his new tunes. His song ‘Yawa No Dey End’, is striving to be the best, and is still pushing harder as it stands at the 8th position on the ranking by Apple Music (when it comes to the Nigeria chart area).

It is a remix that he recorded with “Joeboy” that secured him an entry (for the first time) on the “Turntable Top 50 chart”, where he was at no. 41. His ‘Tough Love’, brought us into the rare stage of Bitter Sweet.

Majeed’s ‘Bitter Sweet’ to the World

Majeeed is gaining popularity, he is bringing himself to the “top of the chart” with his song ‘Bitter Sweet’ and he is surely on the list of the upcoming talented young stars who are set to input their voice diversity into the Country’s Afrobeats scene. His projects have recorded recommendable successes as many fans and media followers of him are ever ready to dance to his new tunes. Many more records are expected from this young man with beautiful Sonic’s, Majeed is no doubt gradually securing a comfortable place in the mainstream with his records.
